Semi-fo​rmal - Tuscan Summer
Semi-formal attire strikes a balance between relaxed and refined.
For women, a midi dress or flowing cocktail dress is ideal. Lightweight, breathable fabrics
are recommended for the warmer weather, with soft colours, warm tones, or floral
patterns perfectly complementing the Tuscan countryside.
Men may opt for a tailored suit, or slacks without a tie for a more relaxed feel. Lighter-coloured suits are encouraged to stay comfortable while remaining polished in the summer sun.
The Wedding
Black-tie event - Black and white
This is a formal black-tie event with a strict black and white palette.
To answer a common question — women are very much welcome to wear white.
For women, this typically means a floor-length gown or an elegant cocktail dress in black or
white.
For men, a tuxedo or a black suit paired with a tie is ideal.

Our most relaxed dress code of the weekend, perfect for unwinding by the pool or enjoying
a casual lunch.
Think flowing sundresses, shorts, and lightweight tops in breathable fabrics. Swimwear
and comfortable footwear are highly recommended.
Footwear
Depending on where your accommodation is located within Il Borro, the walk to event locations may be up to 10 minutes.
As Il Borro is set in the countryside, please be mindful of uneven terrain, including gravel paths, grass, cobblestones, and gentle hills.
Il Borro does offers on-site transportation via cars and golf carts; however please be
mindful of potential wait times, particularly prior to event start times.

July in Tuscany is true summer — warm, sunny, and generally dry. Here’s what you can expect:

Daytime temperatures: typically 28–32°C (82–90°F), with occasional warmer days during heatwaves

Evening temperatures: cooler and more comfortable than the daytime heat

From 6:00–7:00 pm, temperatures begin to ease as the sun sets.
By 8:00–9:00 pm, conditions are usually very comfortable, with temperatures in the low to mid-20s°C (low to mid-70s°F).
